This refreshing and crunchy cucumber, cabbage and dill salad is my family favorite! It’s delicious and very healthy! Hope you’ll like this easy recipe too!

1/2 cabbage

  1. राम राम जी।। आयुर्वेद में कच्ची पत्तागोभी खाने की मनाही की गई है। इसे उच्च तापमान पर खूब पका कर ही खाना चाहिये। इसका कारण यह है कि पत्तागोभी में एक बहुत पतला कीड़ा होता है, जो काटने से भी मरता नहीं है, बल्कि काटने से उसके उतने ही कीड़े उत्पन्न हो जाते हैं, जितने उसके टुकड़े हुये हैं। यह कीड़ा मस्तिष्क तक पहुंच जाता है, जिससे पक्षाघात यानि लकवा (paralysis) तथा अन्य कई रोग हो सकते हैं। अर्थात् पत्तागोभी को "सलाद" के रूप में नहीं खाना चाहिये।

  2. Thanks for this recipe! I added some broccoli slaw to the other ingredients and I was surprised how delicious it was! I never realized Dill and lemon (as well as cucumber and cabbage) go so well with raw broccoli.( I added a little extra virgin olive oil too.) I will be making this often!

  3. I look forward to when I can have raw cabbage to have this salad! For now I’m having a huge cucumber, celery, red bell pepper salad with apple cider vinegar, salt, stevia, and flax oil. Cabbage will make it so much more budget friendly! Thanks for this idea. I’ve not prepared it like you did to get the natural juice out. Now I know 👏😊
