  1. I have never made Blue Berry Syrup before, the first batch I made I followed Cheryl's recipe, The taste is amazing. My next batch of blueberry syrup I made it from the recipe in the Blue Ball Canning Book, it added water to the recipe and when I cooked it it was very watery and disappointing, The recipe Cheryl has here is the best I have ever eaten. It's thick (not to thick) and rich. Yummy is all I can say!

  2. THANK YOU BETTY!!! Thanks for watching and trying my recipe. I am so "HAPPY" that you enjoyed my blue berry syrup recipe. I am over whelmed with your wonderful comment! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for giving it a try and comparing it to the Ball canning book recipe! Your right!!….. this blue berry syrup is YUMMY!! Your the best!

  3. Was the fifth and sixth cup of sugar edited out of the video or something? Because you went from four to seven, it kind of confused me.

  4. Just finish a batch, but I have two questions about the blueberry juice.

First, when you put the heated juice in the cheesecloth how long does it take for you juice to strain? (For example, most jelly recipes suggest straining it overnight, but in the videos it looks like it took you a couple minutes.)

Second, when you're done straining, about how much liquid do you have left after the pulp is removed? (I probably ended up with not much more than 3cups at most. Does this seem correct?)

BTW, when I was completely done I finished with a smudge more than 6 half-pints.

  5. Thank you so much Cheryl for sharing your recipe and process for making blueberry syrup. I will be making your recipe this morning.
