  1. Not gonna lie, watching you use a metal spoon to mix the rice in that white baking dish, was a little cringe…… I kept thinking about small pieces of white coating coming off and mixing with the rice. 🥺

  2. I "thought about" peeking and my kitchen caught fire, my toilet over flowed, my wifi went out, my dog got hit by a car, and my boyfriend broke up with me over text message.

  3. I just want to know the type of rice and was it rinsed to get rid of extra starch 🙂

  4. Chef question, I always wash my rice, should I also do it for this recipe? I noticed you didn't.

  5. 9 years worth of comments here so I can't really see if my question was answered already.
Can someone suggest a good substitute for saffron in this recipe?

  6. Hmm, I feel like you already had the one pot hot, you might as well have stirred in the rice and then steam it in broth on low heat. I guess the baking makes it a bit more foolproof, primarily for people who don't know there's a low setting on their stove.

  7. You gave absolutely no measurements dude lol that’s pretty key with rice and rice types 🤦‍♂️💁‍♂️

  8. Why don't you wash the rice first though? If I don't wash all my rice and soak it for an hour and then rinse it, it comes out too sticky.

  9. Hello. I'm a chef in a school of 100 children, Marseille, France. I never tried this method as I always use massive rice cooker. Today it broke, and I was afraid I will be late with service but then I remembered this video. It came out perfectly and all the teachers said they prefer the rice this way ( it must be the butter). I just wanted to thank you!

  10. Always coming back to this recipe. I have gotten so many compliments on this dish!!

  11. We're two retired people and I make this up once a week. We use it with several meals. It's so nice to have it already made up in advance. Best rice recipe I've ever had. It is PERFECT rice. I can't stand the sticky stuff.
