  1. Sound like my 4 yr old asking wat I’m doing with that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 mine is so nosey 🤦🏽‍♀️ on another note ngl those biscuits look better than Popeyes 😋 …I wanna make these but creating n working with dough be tricky for me…so 🤷🏽‍♀️

  2. I made these tonight with sausage gravy and grits… they were so good!!! this recipe (like so many of yours!!) is definitely a keeper. thank u for sharing!!! 😘😘

  3. Best genuine biscuit recipe on the internet. Two things that differ from my 1908 grandma's recipe that actually make it better, but ppl these days would be horrified: to make buttermilk mix one Tbsp vinegar in milk and let stand an hour then stir. Second, she used 1/3 LARD, not butter which separates. As a substitute for lard, she used Crisco shortening. She emphasized not to over mix. It will look dry but take it from her. She baked it at 500F or even 550F if the oven would do it but watched the oven to make sure they were getting done, then basted the tops with milk about a minute before removing which browns them. A 500 degree oven will give you permanent burn scars and hurt like heck so she had her scars and I have one too. A dirty oven will also smoke and ruin your day. Lastly she used a well-seasoned iron skillet basted lightly inside with vegetable oil or a tiny amount of Crisco. No one would put all those hazards on the internet. Then she made hillbilly gravy from sausage she was browning while making biscuits. That's old Kentucky for you. She married a good man who wouldn't beat her for making a mistake.

  4. Good looking, but what about taste? PLEASE someone mention taste! Everyone talks about how good their food looks I just like to know how good it taste? That sells it.

  5. I'm fixing to make, do you put your flour in the fridge too? I've heard to put your bowl in the freezer too

  6. UPDATE: The first time I made these last week and they turned up PERFECT in everyway and were delicious! I made them again on Saturday they didn't turn out like the first. I think because I skipped a step like keeping in cold. Fixing to do this again in a few. I also followed your recipe every step not missing one. My crisco was not really cold.

  7. This dangerous for me to know how to make these biscuits. I will literally make them everyday 😋

  8. The recipe would have been better if you didn’t talk so much. You voice is annoying.

  9. I did these a year ago and they turned out great but now that I’m trying for thanksgiving, three tries and they still havint come out. Im litterly so sad l, Christmas lights aren’t the only thing hanging these holidays

  10. These biscuits were perfectttttt and so fluffy. I’m making a side of white sausage gravy next time

  11. Turned out good very soft, I cannot stand a hard rock biscut or crispy tip biscut these are bomb.

  12. Girl. I'll bring the rest of the food for breakfast if you make a big batch of biscuits.

  13. You sing like a Disney princess 😂❤ gonna try the combination of boost and shortening. Those look like an amazing texture!

  14. I've been cooking for YEARS and I can tell you that all you need is self-rising flour. That's the only flower I make my biscuits with. If you do that you can eliminate the salt, the baking powder, and the baking soda

  15. Making these biscuits today. It's my favorite recipe for biscuits. I make them at least 2x month using the 2x measurements. My husband loves them for a quick breakfast sandwich in rotation with bagels.

  16. Chile not the baby coming in interrupting you, these kids won’t let you breathe I tell you 😂

  17. How about measuring. You don’t say how much of anything, except flour. Go to Hollywood or Atlanta, if you want to act.

  18. Is it possible to use lard instead of butter flavor shortening? Some folks are trying to avoid artificial flavorings. Thanks.

  19. I can only get whit lily self rising flour hete, can i use this and omit the baking powder?

  20. Goodmorning from Holland! I am missing the whole Recipe!!! Where can I find it??? Wishing you a blessed Weekend!!❤❤❤
