    Recipe Source: [Crock Pot Pinto Beans](https://thecaglediaries.com/crock-pot-pinto-beans/) (I say my way, because we load our pinto beans with meat!)

    ** Ingredients**

    * 1lb Dry Pinto Beans, rinsed and soaked
    * 1 Link Smoked Sausage, sliced
    * 1 Link Andouille Sausage, chopped
    * 1lb Ground Meat, browned
    * 1 Large Sweet Onion, diced
    * 1 Large Green Bell Pepper, diced
    * 1 Large Ribs Celery, diced
    * 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
    * 3 Bay Leaves
    * 1 Tbsp. Creole Seasoning
    * 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
    * 1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
    * 2 Tsp. Thyme, dried
    * 5 Cups Chicken Broth
    * Salt and Pepper to taste

    **Instructions**

    1. Soak Pinto Beans in about 6 cups of water overnight in water, they should double in size.
    2. Brown ground meat in a skillet, drain and add to crock pot
    3. Chop all vegetables, add to crock pot
    4. Add remaining ingredients, including chicken broth.
    5. Stir until mixed well.
    6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

    Note: if you were unable to soak the beans first, it’s ok. Cook the beans on high for 8 hours.
