This is one of my favorite recipes, and I’d like to modify it for the slow cooker:

What kind of milk should I use? When do I add it? I was thinking evaporated milk, but I’m not sure.

I’m also thinking of cooking noodles at the end and adding to the chicken/ sauce.

I’d cook pasta separately. Then cook the meat, 1 cup broth, veggies & spices on low 4 to 5 hrs. Then add pasta, 2 cups heavy cream & cheese & cook on low for another 20 min or so.

I’m sure you can cook the pasta all together with adjustments like 4 cups of broth & 2 cups heavy cream but after cooking chicken on low 4 hrs you’ll remove it and add pasta continue to cook about 1/2 hr or until pasta is tender.

But I find adding cooked pasta at the end easier
