TURKISH SPINACH AND CHEESE BOREK
Börek is a family of baked filled pastries made of a thin flaky dough. Common fillings are made with meat, cheese, spinach or potatoes. Learn how to make it, from scratch, at home.

FOR THE DOUGH
• 400 g Plain flour
• 1 and 1/3 cup of water added gradually until the dough forms
• 1.5 teaspoons Salt
• 1 table spoon of white or apple cider vinegar
• A drizzle olive oil

FOR THE CHEESE MIX & FILLING
• 300 g of full fat feta cheese
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 heaped tablespoons of full fat Greek style yogurt (Note: I accidently said 3 in the video)
• Half a cup of olive oil
• 10 g of butter
• 3 eggs
• Around 500 g of shredded english spinach

FOR DECORATING
• Black and white sesame seeds
• 10g of butter

TIPS:
– When making the dough add the water gradually until the dough forms.
– You want the dough to feel like the softness of an earlobe
– Use a 30 cm x 43 cm baking tray
– Heat your oven fan forced with the base heat set, 180 C or 356 F
