These are a great dunking cookie, for coffee or tea, even red wine!! Redolent with anise seed flavouring, they are crisp and flavourful. These will keep almost indefinitely in airtight containers. A must have for the holidays.
Ingredients:
1 c (250ml) milk
1 c (250ml) veg oil
2 c (500ml) sugar
3 eggs
6 tsp (30ml) baking powder
1 tsp (5ml) baking soda
2 Tbsp (60ml) anise seed oil
6-8 c (1.5L) flour – enough to make a soft but firm dough

Hi 👋
Thank you for the recipe, I was in Libya they have the almost same cookie, maybe Greek influences. Could you please explain more clear your mentioning of the heat degrees, 375 is Celsius or Fahrenheit?
We Italian make same type of cookies!
