St. Emilion, Saint-Estephe Grands Cru are good stuff.
I’m puzzled why the host/sommelier coupled those first two with a Cinquièmes Cru? Not that I turn my nose at 5th growths but you’ve got a $400, $250 then a $50 bottle… You can’t expect this to be a fair comparison.
Arts district represent! Tei An, Oak, FT33 (now closed) are all my jam. Ascension Coffee is a good follow on.

Maybe it’s just the picture, but the steaks look like dehydrated jerky or something. I’d still eat it and drink the wine though.
