Recipe here: http://www.joyofbaking.com/PineappleUpsideDownCake.html Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Pineapple Upside Down Cake is a throwback to the 1920s. A time when canned pineapple was all the rage. One look at this cake and you can see why it was so popular. It is lovely, glistening slices of sweet and sticky caramelized pineapple sitting happily on top of a fluffy white butter cake.

Hi Stephanie
I made this recipe in a cast iron skillet
I made the sauce in the skillet
At first, the butter and sugar separated. So i added a splash of milk
That really combined the sauce togather and it tasted delicious
Overall, the whole cake was absolutely amazing
Everyone in my family loved it!
Hi ma'am….I made this it turned awesome….everyone's favorite in my house….thanks very much for the recipe…I have tried many of your cakes.. thanks for sharing…God bless
I love Pineapple Upside down cake and have always loved your recipes. I had a query. Can I use dark brown soft sugar instead of the light one. Only cuz I don't have the light one available and I want to bake one today.😁 Will be looking forward for your response.
You speak so clearly!
I simply love the simple way in which you teach…..no unnecessary talk…and ofcourse the precise measurements too.

I love this one. Everything is perfect about this recipe. Love your bakes Stephanie
Made this for my sister's birthday. I used canned pineapple. Replaced about half the milk with pineapple juice. Turned out perfect. Not a crumb was left. Thank you for all of your recipes and the time it takes to make these videos. People think I'm a great baker because of you.😂
If you use the reverse creaming method, mixing the butter with the dry ingredients until crumbly, then add the wet and beat until fluffy, the fat will coat the flour and prevent gluten from forming, making for a tender crumb.
❤Thank you Stephanie..you do a really nice job❤
I like how you explain the recipe ❤
