  3. Paula I have tried so many times to make this dish, and although I have very Cajun relatives, this is the southern dish I cannot seem to accomplish!!!!

  5. I saw your spice cellar, where could I find that size spice cellar? I think it looked like a 3 section. Please reply with where we might be able to find that size for our spices.

  6. My mother in law grew up in New Orleans on Creole not Cajun. It's not spicy and she did not like spicy. Can't wait to make this recipe.

  8. West Tennessee born and bred here. Just to let yall know, in our house, morning grits get butter and sugar and evening grits get cooked like y'all did here; salty and savory.

Our favorite breakfast is to scoop up a bowl of grits and add to it: 2 over easy fried eggs, chopped bacon or breakfast sausage, chopped tomatoes and, if we want to get indulgent, shredded cheese. So dang good!!! And, if anyone gets a hankering afterwards, they can scoop up the leftover grits, sprinkle in some sugar and a splash of milk. Yum!

  10. We have a whole debate on whether folks out salt and pepper or sugar on grits. I honestly love BOTH! It depends on the day

  11. Daddy used to love fried mush, Paula. I think that maybe came from not wasting the leftover grits from breakfast.

  13. Paula dumb needs to leave the chef alone and let him cook. WHO DROPS A SHRIMP ON THE FLOOR AND THEN PUTS IT BACK IN? I’m glad she has nothing to do with the restaurant. She doesn’t even know what he does there or who is still employed there. What a complete embarrassment for the general manager.

  14. Use a Flat Whisk, you can get in the corners better………Recipe sounds scrumptious…..will definitely try this one……tks Paula 🥰

    Doesn't say anything about non gmo.

    Better to get stone ground an let it ride while you prep for the day.

    Doesnt mention bacon w/out nitrates..
    And
    Ham is not pink, it was a scam in the 1950s.

  17. This is a perfect example of “Too many cooks in the kitchen”… they were not in sync at all. I’d have preferred just to see Tim cook.
