  1. these look so good, I'm going to make these tomorrow! oh and I LOVE how you show the path to the least amount of dish washing LOL.

  2. Yep – gotta get a scale if you don't have one! I made these cookies once in a scale-free environment and they came out as a soft, cakey sort of thing. Still a delicious cookie, but no crunch!

  3. These look great and I'll definitely be making them soon! Do you mind if I just rewrite one of your lines? "I'm gonna add one egg at a time because one egg is un oeuf."

  4. Mmm, I’d love one right now πŸ˜‹ Question: I’m on a strict low sodium diet, do you think they would turn out ok if I backed off the full teaspoon of salt? πŸ§‚πŸ˜¬

  5. They look so chewy and wholesome, these reminded me of pecan florentines I used to like making, no flour πŸ˜€

  6. Firstly- holy moly those look soooo good!
Secondly- yeh there’s no way that tray was holding 12 cookies πŸ˜…

  7. Sweetie, that wouldn't make it into my oven. Raw cookie dough. Sorry!!! Just the way it is!

  8. Great recipe.. i made them wheat free (mix of rice, tapioca and coconut flour) and use choc drops rather than raisins…it worked well, nice and crispy on the edge and chewy in the middle. but HOLY MOLY, too sweet. i dropped the sugar down 100g over both types and it was still eyewateringly sweet..

  9. Thank you so much. I love every single thing about this video. Plus I'm now dribbling. Can't wait to make these

  10. I used almond flour bc I had it and I wanted to try it. Thought am oatmeal raisin cookie would be a great vehicle. I was right! Wonderful recipe they were β€œlacey” like u said thanks
    Edit
I also remember seeing an almond cheese cracker on your blog so maybe I’ll try the flour in that πŸ‘ πŸ˜‹

  11. Does it matter what kind of oven that you use whether it's a big oven or a smaller oven like the ones you plug up in the wall? I was reading that if you fon't use Brown sugar it will likely get more cruncher, is this true?

  12. Hi Paula, i printed your recipe and noticed it didnt have your name on it, i looked to find your utube channel and found you to write this note. Good cookies!

  13. Crispy chewy oatmeal cookies are my absolute favorite!
I want to make these, but I don't own a scale and I'm too damned poor to buy one.
Can I have the old fashioned measured recipe please???πŸ™πŸ€€πŸ€€
