The ignition was very slow and, honestly, pretty mild when compared to even some store-bought salsas like Mrs. Renfros Ghost Pepper salsa. Flavor-wise, it tastes fresh and homemade with a sweetness to it. Pretty fantastic on breakfast tacos.
Glad I got it, but for 13 dollars a bottle (26 dollars shipped) I won’t be getting more.

I imagine it’s actually a lot weaker than their Reaper salsa “I Dare You Stupit” just based on Ed’s own description of how to read the ingredients.
Here is that ingredients section:
> Ingredients: 60% Smokin’ Ed’s Carolina Reaper® Pepper, Diced Tomatoes, Vinegar, Onions, Lemon, Garlic, Sugar, Cilantro, Salt, Spices
It’s got a heavy burn, but it’s good. I added lime juice to mine and it lowers the burn but increases the flavor to be really good from mediocre. Also, the heat before the lime juice was just a little bit too high anyway.
They are local to me, so I’ll go get some this weekend and try it out.
