I definitely really loved Ike’s already so maybe Im bias but happy to have one in the area! I got the Elvin Klein with their dutch crunch bread. The team working were so kind. Definitely worth a try. Currently has limit hours, 11am-6pm.

I totally butchered my sandwich name, I got the Elvis Kieth #1 hahaha.

  2. I had them in California and was thoroughly unimpressed. You get a lot of sandwich, but it’s utterly mediocre.

We had one of these in San Marcos for a while, but it closed rather unceremoniously. It wasn’t spectacular, but that Dutch Crunch kinda slaps. Decent hangover food.

Depends on what you get. Do a Da Vinci and call it a day. My only complaint is that everything is over priced

Is this the closest thing to Big Bite that Austin has now?

That seems really pricy for just a sandwich, or is it just me?

So greasy and no flavor except for that overpowering spread that they slop on waaaay to much of

Their vegetarian options are delightful and plentiful! Seriously impressed, thx OP for posting, this is the closest location to me, now!!

Most important question: Do they have Dutch Crunch??

Usually, new locations have a grand opening event with free sandwiches for the first 50. I’m not sure if they’ve already done theirs yet or if they are going to.

Unfortunately this location closes at 6pm which is too early for me to stop by. I’m hoping it’s temporary because I’ve had Ike’s elsewhere a couple times and really like it

That signature sauce of theirs is just plain not good. I need to go back and give it another try with another sandwich and just normal mayo, but that sauce ruined my experience the first time.

So pricey. Are they better than Thun Der Cloud?

Very good and very bad for your body. Run hard if you want to eat here.

I hope it comes with a focus from corporate to maintain quality and a concentration on establishing their reputation here.
From here but lived in SoCal from 2017-2021 for a Silicon Valley group. I was so happy to have one in Sunset Valley but it’s a sloppy, stingy, and uninterested crew. Bread is great but these weak aholes were/are putting a 1/4 of effort into the volume and the deliciousness of these sandwiches.

I thought it was ok the first time. Way too expensive especially when you want double meat. I felt that it was too much bread without ordering double meat. It reminds me of old school quizno’s sandwiches.

It’s crazy that they don’t have a single sandwich under 1000 calories despite having nearly 20 vegetarian options.

Ike’s is solid, but give me Jersey Mikes all day. For “specialty” subs, I’d still take snarfs over Ike’s as well

I felt sick for a day after eating a sando from Ikes.
