Corner Beef Noodle House in SGV is probably the best Taiwanese beef noodle soup (niu rou mian) I’ve ever had (and yes, I’ve lived in Taiwan)

do they use tendon? niu jing?

Agree they’re one of the best Taiwanese beef noodles. Their other foods like fried pork or chili oil wonton (their wontons are huge) are pretty great too.
And their frozen stinky tofu meatballs are so good.

THE BEST!!! I am not Chinese but spent my teen years in the SGV during the gold age of BNS. A lot of the best places aren’t around anymore but CBN recaptures all the magic and then some.
The staff is absolute the nicest folks and their fruit tea one of the best drinks in the area. Super easy to get to in El Monte… right off the 10 freeway!

Have you been to P P Pop in Monterey Park? I loved their beef noodle soup and dumplings so I’m wondering what you think of it from someone who has lived there. Thanks for the rec!
Tonovillaino
thanks for the rec. going to have to try this out.

I miss my old Mandarin Noodle Deli just off Atlantic and their beef noodle soup. The original owners moved out to Temple City many years ago and it’s not the same. I’ll have to try this place out!

Definitely up there! I prefer 101 Noodle Express myself but can’t go wrong with either!

I find it amazing that it’s practically unanimous that Corner Beef has the best beef noodles in town. I like buying the frozen beef soup and substitute the noodles with dumplings. Quick and delicious dinner in 10 minutes.

I went last week and found most of their food, including their beef noodle soup and chili wontons, too sweet. Was wondering if they just had a bad day or if they are from southern Taiwan. How was the sweetness of your food?

How does it compare to Dai Ho in temple city. My favorite beef noodle place closed over a decade ago and dai ho has been my go to since.
