You obviously have never made a pie before you have to bake the bottom crust before hand and mix the rhubarb with the sugar flour mixture first.

WHEN I WAS GROWING UP AS A CHILD MY MOM MADE RHUBARB PIE I LOVED IT & MISS EATING IT TODAY I AM GROWN NOW BUT MOM PASSED AWAY AT AGE 61 I NEVER FOUND OUT THE INGREDIENTS SHES USED BEDSIDES RHUBARB.
I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT WHERE I CAN BUY SOME RHUBARB & MAKE THE PIE MYSELF.
When I was growing up our neighbors planted rhubarb. They didn't like it so they would give it to my Mom every year. She would make pies. It was the only thing she EVER made that I didn't like. She would add strawberries and other stuff, still I hated it. Unfortunately rhubarb is a perennial! I made it my mission to kill the rhubarb!!
My mom used to make that. I loved it. Miss it.

How big should the tablespoon be? And does it matter which brand of cups one uses? Or are these standard measures? Why not using grams then, if a cup and a tablespoon refer to a standard measure?
