    I was ready for a bullshit list, but this guy is pretty spot on. That Cubano’s cheeseburger is fantastic.

    Jabs is really good and he’s right, the guys there are super nice.

    Apple fritters on the fall weekends are delicious too

    That’s a really good list, and of course Friday Burger itself is top tier in my opinion too.

    The problem with these lists is that nobody ever visits Zeal Burger! It’s the location that kills it, Weston rd and Lawrence. But the mini zeal burger with jalapeño mayo is the best burger I’ve had in the city.

    This is very close to my own list, tho he leans into the smashburgers a bit too hard. I would have had big trouble in there.

    JABS is great, I’d personally rank it higher than Cabano’s but both are great.

    Imo the best burger joint is the cheap, non-chain burger place, closest to your home

    I tried Friday for the first time recently and it didn’t strike me as anything special. I’m gonna give them another shot before final judgement.

    Missing Big Trouble, it’s my fav smash burger in the city, closely followed by Jabs (and Cubano and Burger Drops next to it)

    No Matty’s ? Haven’t found many places that will do a medium rare burger in the city

    Not listed and they since closed down due to COVID and a fire, but Museum Tavern did have a legit double cheeseburger as well.

    Out of the ones on the list, only one I’ve had is Holy Chuck’s, but they are pretty fucking legit. Gotta give the other ones (and other ones not listed) a try.
