Also the steak looks like it may get up and walk out the the restaurant!

I love how much effort was put into plating the steak fries while they just slapped a bunch of sauce on the meatballs so it runs over the side and said fuck it.

STK is a chain. Who told you this was a “fancy” restaurant?

    Of course you got robbed.

EDIT: more context… there is a location in Dallas, and it doesn’t rank anywhere near Dallas’ good steakhouses. I’m not trying to question your choices. You did the best you could with the information *you were given.*

I’m trying to understand where these ideas manifest because there are a lot of restaurants that try to emulate haute cuisine purely by screwing you with mediocre food served in tasting portion sizes charged at full, a la carte entree prices. They’re banking on the chance that most people have never eaten at a legitimately high end restaurant, and so they don’t know this is beneath what should be expected. That’s how these chains make bank. If we know who is spreading the B.S. and through what marketing, we can create a generalized “guide” for diners to quickly identify and avoid shitty wannabes.

That’s a nice appetizer but what did you have for your main?

Yeah, as others have said STK is not good. They have ok brunch and lunch but dinner is way over priced for mediocre food, if you are in Disney Springs most other options there are better

  6. You’re at STK my guy. If you gonna go to a high end restaurant then expect to ball out. You need to order your steak separately from the sides at these kind of places

What I’ve learned lately is if the size of the steak is not disclosed on the menu it means you are going to get robbed

Shoulda walked across the lobby down the hallway to secret pizza.

Good lord, I had to check out the menu near me (San Francisco). Even more expensive. MFs are charging $68 for fish and chips. GTFO
