I noticed that moisture somehow got into my plastic container of gochugaru and it got moldy. Store only had this red pepper powder in a fine grind , will this still work for if i want to make kimchi jjige? Also what other applications can i use it for?

Yes it works, there’s two types course and fine. Treat it has just dried chilis, you can add it to anything you want some hear just keeping in mind it can burn if you decide to grill or fry without adequate liquid.
Also I store it in the fridge, keeps longer.
