First pellet grill I’ve ever owned. Excited to learn what works and doesn’t work. Picked this up from Sam’s club for $250. Thought there’s no way I could pass this deal up.

Good on yah! Best of luck to you.
I always suggest doing a pork butt as a first run on any new smoker. They are pretty darn forgiving and allow you to learn about your new setup without blowing a ton of cash.

This is the same grill I have.
I picked it up a few years ago from Sam’s for about the same price.
I think it does a great job.
I had some trouble at first with my first cook. It would not hold temperature at all. I set it at 225° F, and it swung +/- 75° F.
Sam’s Club customer service sent me a replacement digital controller assembly and a temperature sensor.
The grill has held +/- 5 °F for the rest of my cooks.
