I went into this very skeptical, restaurants in Beverly hills tend to let me down more often than not and a steakhouse seemed like a prime candidate for that. But this place was genuinely excellent, the bone broth is tasty as a starter to warm up your palette. The tartare was as good as any I’ve had in the city besides Petit Trois’s, and the main fillet was perfectly cooked and the accompanying little gem salad was crisp and tasty. The flourless chocolate cake was also very good. I appreciated that nothing was ostentatious or done for social media pictures, even though the plating was clean and did make for nice pictures. Only gripe I have was that the wine list by the glass left a little to be desired in my opinion, a bordeaux and/or burgundy by the glass would be a really nice addition. Overall, I think this is alongside Gwen and the Arthur J as my favorite steakhouses I’ve been to in the city.
