So hate me if you wish, but these extremely cheap cans (No Name brand ones in the image linked above) are my favorite thing, made breakfast with them since I was a kid. I can’t get regular potatoes to ever taste like them, anybody know the secret? I’ve tried soaking them in water, boiling, soaking in noot-quite-boiling-but-hot pot, they never come out as soft and such. If a dumb post feel free to remove, I just keep trying to make these myself in my boredom to no avail, and my local grocery stores seem to have been out the past few weeks as the hoarders emptied supply.
