I recommend this place all the time. Tacos are $4 +/- and are packed to the brim with filling. I can usually only finish one and a half or two tacos and bring the third home. But I also get my fill on their chips and salsa, which is one of my all time favorites.

The only downside to this location is that they close at 3pm, which means we can only really enjoy them when we have some free time on the weekends.

I live near #2 and if I can tell anyone anything: don’t sleep on the gorditas. They are incredible.

Love Vazquez. I eat at the one off of Steck fairly often. Very good, incredibly good price. Very old school. Very homey. Weekend menudo is fantastic.

The staff there are super sweet and the food is always delicious

Looks delicious, especially the pastor with the mountain of cilantro.
The crunchy taco screams “white people taco night” with the sad lettuce and unmelted cheese though lol. But I know that’s the style they are going for.

Their barbacoa tacos are the freaking best.

That looks so fucking good

Nice, I used to get breakfast tacos at the Braker location, didn’t know about this one. Closer to where I live now.

The shopping center with Vasquez #3 is at 183 and Lake Creek Parkway, where Pinballz is. Anderson Mill is farther south.

I lived by the OG #1 for years when I first moved to Austin. Live near #3 now. It’s my kids gold standard.

I’ve lived up here for years and never known about this place

My son (9) when I ask if he wants me to grab him a breakfast taco “where you going?” If I don’t answer “Vasquez” his reply is a hard no.
