I replaced the tomatoes with a jar of ragu I found in the clearance section, and the bread with some hamburger buns I had left over from Labor Day. I really didn't like it that much, 0 stars.
instead of adding garlic to the mixture i would just rub the toasted bread with a half of a clove and maybe for a bit more saltines and flavour i would add a slice of prosciutto on each bread …
