Has SFGate always run this many LA dining scene articles? I’ve seen two in the past week

I thought a competitor came in like Bafung 🫣

Isnt this old news? Didn’t we all gasp about this months ago? Why is SF reporting on it now lol

“For Angelenos and the millions of annual visitors to the Americana… the move is tantamount to dumpling treason”

…how so? The article doesn’t mention anybody that is actually upset about this, aside from maybe implying that the ownership group of the Americana isn’t thrilled.

From a diner perspective, having a second dumpling option down the block seems great.

Damn, you’re telling me I’m gonna have to get dumplings at the same place I’ve been parking at?

Damn, I know it’s ridiculous but I was hoping it would be Kang Kang.

Honestly the worst dim sum I have had in LA. xiaolongbao was so doughy. I am sure it was a big money maker as it was packed but I am not going back

  8. Where are the salacious details? Do you know something about why they’re moving? Or is this just garbage click-bait?

Seems like the latter. Maybe stick to writing about SF.

Din Tai Fung is too pricey now anyways, they could all move for all I care.

Isn’t the south coast dtf knock off going in its place?

I’m actually looking forward to having a Paradise Dynasty closer to me… Tried the one at South Coast and I really enjoyed it!
