  1. Beautiful recipe and dish as always cuz:) exactly my kind of food but obviously you know that already:)

  2. I made this!! For me, this is a big deal since I rarely cook – and when I do, it needs to be quick, simple and foods the kids will eat. BUT I've been venturing out of my comfort zone for variety and healthier choices – and I LOVE dumplings. These were actually fun to make and delicious thanks to your instructions.

  3. I know a Syrian woman who adds rice in the yoghurt sauce, it is even more delicious I find! i really like shish barak!

  4. If i order the book the feast in the middle east from you, dear blanche, please do not be impatient. 😘 Just a joke.😘 May dear god bless you.😃😍😄😘

  5. Love the interaction with your mom. Being able to laugh together is great. I will be using wonton wrappers for these because I have no patience for rolling things out. Lazy, I know. Thanks for the recipe and the entertaining video.

  6. Your Mama is chic , elegant and good looking. Are u familiar with kebbe bil sayniye or bil labanieh

  7. My Aunty is teaching me how to make this dish soon and I hope it's going to be exactly like your recipe! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  8. I'm a Lebanese sitto (grandmother). I love animals, especially little lambs, so I don't eat them. I make the dumplings with meat substitutes such as Impossible or Beyond Burgers and they are delicious. If I don't tell my dinner guests, they don't know the difference. I also add chopped mint to my "lubin" (yogurt) sauce. Thanks for this enjoyable video.

  9. Our family never cooked the meat first. We let it cook in the laban. Same with Kousa mashi. I'm wondering what the purpose is in cooking it first? I see some do, some don't.
