  2. Not really an Italian dish, looks good though.

    There is an abruzzese speciality that is similar, though with less overused ingredients in the perceived Italian cuisine: spaghetti alla chitarra con polpettine. Also, you would need a chitarra to make that. It is not popular in the country, contrary to the meatball thing in the US.
