Makes me miss when there were Delaware Subs all over Austin, instead of just the one up off Mesa. Hoody’s is a spin off from Delaware, and to be honest, looks even better.

I went today for the first time and I was very impressed! Got a Philly and Italian. They were very nice and quick service. Really loved the traditional deli vibe in there.

If you’re looking for the perfect order it does exist…. 6″ philly double meat and cheese all the way. ALWAYS call ahead, if you’re lucky Hoody will actually be there to shoot the shit with you. enjoy.

Best cheesesteak was at Way South Philly on Burnett in Austin. They had Amarosas bread, cheese whiz and the perfect steak. They didn’t survive the plandemic. I have had nothing since authentic as a truly original Philly cheesesteak.
