@sergei1978 There's probably two reasons. One: A lot of cooking is to taste. Following an exact recipe can lead to issues, especially if you are trying to find things that are out of season or just hard to get in your area. Next, I'm sure she has exact measurements at her websites!

I always have a hard time getting the right water ratio to basmatti rice (especially basmatti). How many cups of water did you start boiling and how many bups of the brown basmatti rice did you add? Does adding the fish and onions take away from the water ratio? Thanks!

what is in the sayadieh spice…if we cannot buy all the different spices from your site..how would we know what spices to add??
