Had insane cravings this morning and was about to blow a bunch of both money and calories that I can’t afford to spend on a huge sweets and pizza binge. Recipe in comments! 🙂

Recipe:
Followed the steps in this [recipe](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/7016/french-toast-i/) except substituted the bread for Nature’s Life Keto bread, the milk for almond milk, and the butter in the pan for PAM spray oil.
Optional: I added some Swerve confectioner’s sugar (0 calories) on the top and then also added around 1/2 a cup of Maple Grove’s sugar free maple syrup for around 30 calories.
Couldn’t finish all five pieces since I got full, but managed to snarf down three of them happily! Definitely fulfilled my sweets craving and stopped me from ordering an expensive and massive delivery app order of pastries and pizza this morning lol. I’m not a good cook either and I hate recipes that take forever to make, this was pretty simple and maybe took like 15-20 minutes total, with a lot of me getting sidetracked and trying to find the correct ingredients in my kitchen. Has great potential for a quick and easy before-work breakfast once you know the recipe and have everything handy! 🙂

I do protein waffles regularly. From oats, protein powder, krusteaz and kodiak pancake mixes. A bit high in carbs though, I could probably replies the pancake mixes with eggs or greek yogurt for extra protein. It helps me at least from eating more sugary treats like pastries, cookies
