➜Here’s what you”ll need:

24 jumbo shrimp (raw, deveined, shell-off & tails-on)
Juice of 1/2 lemon + cold tap water to rinse shrimp.
1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1 teaspoon vegetable oil + 3 cups for frying.
1 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 smoked paprika
Salt & fresh ground black pepper to taste.
Batter
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
Fresh black pepper to taste
1/2 cup water
1 cup all-purpose flour
Breading
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh black pepper
1/2 teaspoon All-purpose seasoning
Sweet chili sauce, for serving

Do not crowd the pot when frying – fry in small batches for a crispier and crunchier finish.

What type of all purpose seasoning do you use ?

I’ve tried butterflied last 1/3 of the shrimp and when I put them in the frying pan, I stand them up with the butterflied end down. Then when I put them on the serving dish, they look pretty.
Unsweetened is tasteless
