I’m a folded oatcake guy myself, but that looks like a tasty plate

Why did you title this as if you’re posting on r/therewasanattempt

I do love a Staffordshire oatcake, although for some reason they get renamed in my home county of Derbyshire.

I love a Staffordshire oatcake but that combination doesn’t get the best out of them n they’ll go all soggy under the beans

    Really good looking vegetarian plate

You want to wrap that thing up and ship it to Mexico

As a Scottish person this had me confused. TIL we have different oatcakes here

I have never heard of an Oatcake before.

Maybe you should roll it up like a wrap?

My gran lived opposite an oatcake shop in north staffs – still some of the best I’ve had. Folded with bacon and cheese for me – better if strong mature cheddar and smoked bacon 😋😋😋

I’ve never tried an oatcake on a fry up but I’d give it a try now without the beans tho haha.

Crispy oatcake from the oven with melted cheddar and crispy bacon. Heaven.

Honestly, Oatcakes must be the best thing I’ve discovered after moving to Staffordshire. Also the only thing I genuinely miss after moving out of Staffs. Okay, oatcakes and being called duck, that was awesome too.
