    The whole project took 3 weeks including a full time job so only nights and weekends. Material cost was about $1,200 plus another $600 in consumables and tools.

    Was that your first cook on it? Looks like everything came out good.

    A fire cradle would be helpful. From there it’s just learning what splits work the best for fire management in it and how big you need the coal bed to be.
