My biggest issue with Clark’s is that it’s so incredibly small that parking is a nightmare and even if you find a spot for your car, if you haven’t gotten a reservation then it is a crap shoot whether or not you’ll be seated.
Best thing bout Clark’s is that they have a top notch burger, fantastic shoestring fries and I really enjoy their Crab Louie salad.

Alison Cook didn’t like the burger (which I do) but loved the fries (which I hate).
And it only cost $700.
I walked by this place recently on a Thursday during dinner and it reminded me of what Austin has become and what we have lost.
I believe the burger is half off for happy hour. I love Clark’s: pricey, but never had a disappointing meal there.
Is this Clark’s the oyster bar?
