Spotted in the wild (fb homesteading group). Guess she canned the water and rags with her broth to make “sterile water and rags” 🫣

If planning on shooting someone, maybe it is a good idea to have ‘medical supplies’ on standby to make it look like you didnt shoot someone on purpose.

    I’m so confused.

A nurse from the 1800’s that needs sterile rags?

  4. I’ve heard some people add a jar or two of water to make up a canner load (for emergency water, I guess) but this picture shows at least a canner load and a half of water/rags…Why? is all I can say. I have better uses for quart jars and I sure hope they used old lids…what a waste of time and resources.

Well, I do this. But without the rags lol.

I have no clue if it end’s up as sterile or not. But it is potable and safe for drinking/cooking.

As a trauma nurse, I have to ask… WTF? You can buy sterile dressings and even combat tourniquets on Amazon. Why risk an infection doing something like this?

Wouldn’t the rags cause A TON of bacteria growth??

It’s a great idea, it is zero calories, no sugar, no gluten, no carbs and yet it is so filling too. Best of all if you eat it, you don’t have to wipe afterwards – entirely self cleaning.

The real crime was lids were wasted.
