  9. I ask my aunt how can I prevent the yogurt from curdling and she say to bring it to a boil in a low flame and to stir only in one direction clockwise. She is absolutely right it did not cuddle!!! Thanks for the recipe my family enjoyed.

  10. You're welcome! Glad your family enjoyed the kibbeh labanieh recipe. Egg and starch helps the yogurt from curdling. And your aunt was right continuously stirring clockwise until the yogurt comes to a boil helps the yogurt from curdling. Enjoy, and thanks for your input.

  11. Yes you can use Greek yogurt in meatball yogurt soup. If you find the yogurt too dense then add some water or stock to thin it out. Keep us posted about your experience we would love to hear from you again. Enjoy! 🙂

  15. HI, I know you said to boil the yogurt and slowly add the water from the meatball pot in order to prevent the yogurt from curdling, and you also were blending the yogurt as you were adding all the ingredients; however, I boil the meat balls in my own chicken broth, then add the meat balls, cook it for ten minutes, and then I grab a small container of yogurt add an egg and beat it until the egg is dissolved. Then, once my meatball comes to a boil I turn off the stove add the yogurt mixing it gently, and the results are spectacular and of course the yogurt doesn't curdle.

  16. Thank you so much Marriet ,it's Ramadan and I'm fasting ,but I'm going to try this.
I had a friend from Lebanon 40 years ago and she made thisI never tasted anything so delicious I never believed I could do it myself but thanks to your help I will.

  17. The most challenging part of this recipe is getting the yogurt not to curdle. I made this tonight and my yogurt curdled 🤪 it was still delicious but did not come out like my mom’s. I learned.
