1. Heat Tortillas for roughly 30 seconds on each side on a skillet over medium high heat (If you have spare butter or oil throw a dash on the skillet before throwing on the Tortillas for extra taste) 2. Set a small deep pot to medium heat, throw in your black beans and the entire jar or Jalapeños (If you don’t want soggy Jalapeños throw in all of the Jalapeño juice into the beans and keep the Jalapeños separately in their jar) heat until boiling while occasionally stirring. (If you’d prefer no heat then just skip the Jalapeños, black beans are delicious either way!) 3. With 1 Tortilla on the skillet throw a handful of cheese on top, place another Tortilla on top of cheese. Heat for 1 minute the flip. Heat for 1 minute, check to see if each side is golden yellow/brown, if not, repeat the heat step for 1 minute on each side 4. Remove quesadilla off skillet and let it cool. Serve with beans and sour cream, done!

I eat 1 or 2 jalapeño a day. I found at the dollar store Badia brand Jalapeño powder that is so good and hot, just a shake or two is enough. great to have on hand when I’m out of fresh peppers. It was like $1.25 for a 2 oz bottle and a little goes a long way. I put it on everything. I made a homemade pizza and put the powder on it, so good.
