These look good man, just a suggestion; next time brother use some duck fat or something, I promise you the flavour is just different. Salty, sweet, moreish… these look good mate but trust me, the brown crust you get from fat or lard is just different…. Also show me the mince boy where’s the rest? Cmonnn

I have never got the hype about roast potatoes.
They are one of many foods I’d never heard of before I went to boarding school when I was 9. My mum wouldn’t eat carbs at all and I guess roasting potatoes just for me wasn’t something she wanted to do. I think also the fact they are cooked in fat would have made her think they are too fattening. Dunno.
Anyway it took many years to come to enjoy them at all, well into adulthood in fact. Now I can enjoy one or two with a roast with gravy etc but I don’t get excited about them the way all other Brits seem to.
It’s also quite hard for me to enjoy most potatoes, bread etc as my role model never ate them. I have a thing for mashed potatoes with butter and cream though!
So enjoy your roast potatoes, I’m sure they are lovely but it’s just not my thing at all.

What makes them cheeky? I’ve heard people call all sorts of things cheeky that can’t possibly be cheeky or maybe you think you’re being cheeky somehow by roasting potatoes? 🤷🏻♀️ if that’s the case you can rest assured that roasting potatoes isn’t cheeky and they’re very common in the uk for many people, I usually roast them as it’s easier to roast them big I prefer them boiled or steamed I just can’t be aRs*d to cook them that way most of the time, especially when I have a run of eating potatoes instead of rice or pasta everyday.
