Asparagus, chickpea & avocado

    Recipe (my own) made in a 1.5 litre slow cooker

    1 mashed avocado, 1 can of rinsed chickpeas, and 4 stems of chopped asparagus form the basis of this thick soup.

    1 cup of milk added. I used milk powder ~ 2 heaped tablespoons. A few tbs each of basil, celery seed was added. A little pink himalayan salt, along with a dash of hot spice mix I had previously made. After a good stir to break up the avocado, this was then left on low for roughly 2 hours.

    Prepared a packet of Maggi Mi Goreng noodles (water drained + spice & oil added). Pushed to the side, then using a mug, a scoop of soup poured in.

    Topped with cold tin tuna (basil & tomato), grated edam cheese, and chopped roasted cashews. Great on a warm afternoon. All the best to your slow cooking!
