Is there any relation between the West LA one and the west Adams one? The one on Sepulveda isn’t that great but I like the look of it, the west Adams is actually delicious as hell but pricier than an every day pastrami spot.

This was very delicious but also a little greasy (not a complaint just an observation).
But yeah, it’s a bit pricey as this (with coleslaw) was $20. Still recommend it though cause it’s a good place for a hangout.

Also recommend the matzoh ball soup and the Johnny fries (basically animal style but with Swiss cheese and pastrami)

Also, this place has a damn good cheeseburger. One of my favorites in LA.

Overrated.

I still like the Hat’s pastrami sandwich better.

I went to Tito’s Tacos one time and they were packed. Decided to try Johnny’s. It was 30 minutes before close. The lady was very rude and said they were all booked with orders. The Hat gladly took my money later.

Looks good, but actually tastes like disappointment.
