Ingredients (4 servings)

– 800g Raw Topside/Top Round Beef Steak cut into cubes
– 1.5 tsp Salt
– 2 tsp Black Pepper
– 2 tsp Garlic Powder
– 2 tsp Parsley
– 1 tsp Chilli Powder
– 2 tsp Olive Oil
– 40g Light Butter (for Cooking)

Creamy Cheese Sauce

– 280ml Low Fat Milk
– 150g Light Cream Cheese (Brand: Philadelphia)
– 35g Light Cheddar (Brand: Valley Spire)
– 35g Shredded Mozzarella (Brand: Emporium)
– 200g Uncooked / 450g Cooked Macaroni

Cajun Seasoning Mix (or you can buy premade at any supermarket)

– 1 tsp each Salt & Pepper
– 1 tsp each Garlic & Onion Powder
– 1 tsp Paprika
– 1 tsp Chilli Powder or Cayenne Pepper
– 1 tsp Thyme
– 1 tsp Oregano

Important Cooking Notes

– Marinate the steak overnight for better flavour
– When cooking the steak, make sure the heat is medium high heat. Cook for 3-4 mins each side to get a nice sear
– Lower the heat slightly when adding extra butter, minced garlic and parsley. Mix for 1-2 mins then remove from the heat
– Make sure the heat is on low when making the cheese sauce. Stir till creamy and the cheese is stringy then turn off the heat and add the macaroni

  2. Again which this bullshit🙄 I’m not even gonna waste my time breaking down all the macro lies. So he’s saying he’s using 800 grams of top round steak split 3 ways. That’s 266 grams per serving, THAT’S 594 CALORIES JUST IN THE STEAK. Stop listening to this idiot. Do you know what a 500 calorie meals looks like.

    6 oz of chicken breast
    1 cup jasmine rice
    .5 cup of broccoli
    (No oils, no butter, just cooked plain)

    This would be:
    48g Carbs
    6.3g Fat
    58g Protein
    501 Calories

    Think about that the next time he shows you some bullshit recipe that’s actually more than twice as calorie dense than he claims.

  3. Before you cut the steak into cubes its definitely worth drying it.

    Salt both sides of the steak quite heavily to draw the water out. You'll see the steak start to look wet, dab the water away with a paper towel.

    When you come to cook the steak make sure the pan is very hot so that you only get a sear and don't overcook

  4. Not sure about that calorie count… If it's for 3 meals that's about 250g of steak. Most websites say it's 250 kcal per 100g of steak. So even if the meat is very lean, you would be past 500kcal before you even get to the Mac n cheese (which is probably equally high in calories even with low fat milk & cream).
    It looks good, but I really think it should be more accurate for the calories.

  5. Why do u only do 3 servings when you say 4 man, they look small already but when they all have 33% less in them they would be a child’s portion! And low fat cheese tastes like ass!
