Greetings! It is Easter Sunday as of this post and I am getting ready to go to my mom’s house for dinner. I wanted to take something along for dessert and this is just the ticket! Lazy man’s cannoli! This is inspired by other videos that I have seen on YouTube and I just think the idea is brilliant!
Frying cannoli shells can be a lot of work, and not fun work at that. Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely detest deep frying anything. It smells up the house, its hot and it’s messy! This gives me the cannoli I want without all the mess and work involved. It may not be the original, but is it a satisfying substitute!
I hope you give this a try and I hope you love it!
You can find the recipe on my website by clicking the link above.
Happy Eating!

I'm crazy about cannoli's…..I was Super excited to stumble across this video while watching another one of yours. Thanks for sharing your secret for the easy no fry shell! I can't wait to try it.
What was the brand of the cones and ricotta that you used? 🙂
Looks yummy!
For this Canolli recipe, of which I love love love the ease. Can I ask how long will they last once I inject the cream? Thanks
Very good idea using the cones, I love a good very crunchy cannoli
I loved to cook & bake, but ever since I had a stroke, I'm pretty much side-lined. Till now! Thank you for sharing this very do-able & tasty dessert. Never had a cannoli before, but now I will! ^____^
I know people are trying to make suggestions wich is great but she definitely knows what the hell she's doing and this recipe looks amazing. She also loves it and that's all that matters
Never heard of conoli. Looks good.
Using this recipe in the future! Thank you very much
wow totally making those
I agree…making the pastry of the cannoli is way too much work and I am Italian. "Forget about it"…. I buy them ready made & frozen…BUT, I like your idea of the wafer cones. Anyway, what makes the pastry is the cannoli cream which I like to make myself!!! 🙂 Thank you!
you guy's are beautiful together keep up the awesome work, with your hubby sneaking in the dishwasher with your back turned🤣😃🤣😃🤣😃🤣that's yooooou cute…
Noreen….every time I see this recipe pop up I watch it again! And "like" it again. These are truly wonderful! TFS! Best Wishes and Greetings from Central Florida….long time fan and subscriber. 😊
I am a big believer in these. I made these for the work xmas parties. It just shows that all the cost goes into the shells. Why not use cones? They also fit better on a round plate.
That finger testing is so cute , that means he loves your food , great job Rick 😁😁😁😁😁😁

I so agree about deep frying stinking up the house…I can't stand that so I don't use my deep fryer….thanks for your recipe
These look awesome!
I have made this with just vanilla extract and it was yummy.
I have a recipe similar that is in "chip 'n dip" form. You make your filling and break ice cream cones in bite size pieces.I enjoy your video's.
Thank you 🙏
Hay that's a really good idea 👍 making the cannoli cream for cream puffs today & i will pick up some ice cream cones thanks 🍦😝
i like the sunny lemon yellow dishes , it is cheerful.looks like a big yellow sun.
Oh that’s so delicious. It’s a great idea I love it. 😘
Do you drain the ricotta?
I got the cinnamon oil. To try with the cannoli. How much different is the cinnamon oil with the one that you just used.
Honey…What a great idea to a cannolei! More filling for me. The cone…who would have thought. Sold!
Bye for now Lizzie lu
You are one of the few who pronounces Ricotta correctly, thanks! Also, great Idea!!!!!

Thank you😉
I love your video.. I look forward to making this.
Can I pipe the filling into the shells a day ahead?
For the cheese do I have to drain it before adding all the ingredients.
Thank you…. Julie
