  1. not keith avoiding his poc guests' last names….. you don't see the white men in this episode get the same treatment. Honestly, could've at least done all first name only on the sign off!!! what the heck

  2. I couldn't do much spice until after my first kid. Since then I've enjoyed spice. Hurts my stomach but worth it. Lol

  3. Tiramisu is, in fact, cake.

While the most traditional recipes use Lady Fingers, those are actually just stale rectangles of sponge cake, and many variations of the tiramisu can be made by substituting fresh sponge cake for the stale Fingers.

Tiramisu must have a coffee soak and marscapone, or it isn't tiramisu.

"Basque" in "Basque Cheesecake" does not actually directly refer to the creme brulee aspect.

Basque is a tiny region of Spain that disassociated from the rest of the country to be it's own culture, even going so far as to create their own language that has no linguistic ties to the Romance languages surrounding it.

This cheesecake is just another thing they rebelled with, baking their crust less cheesecake at 500° degrees for an hour, causing the sugary batter to caramelize and sometimes burn at the top and sides for the bruleed 'crust' , like a marshmallow.

Many recipes will specifically call it a "Burnt Basque Cheesecake"

  4. 16:35 &on : Personal and family experience: all got things get less hot as you age… up until the day you realize you just should not do hot anymore… then even medium can become a liability, I'm, after the fact.
I think you can increase tolerance up to a point then you slide back, but flavor gets more important doting that time.
Then, with age again, you go into plain territory for comfort. 😮😮

  5. I have never once wanted to be the "um actually'' person but right now I want to wear this hat with pride or my Basque Culture professor will kill me lol. The Basque are a distinct culture group in the north of Spain, and the south of France. They're a beautiful and full culture where linguists still don't fully understand where their language originates from. This is just to inform the miss information at 33:39. I am done being that guy and I love the video!
