Just curious as to the gaps between the fire bowl and the outer wall and the grate height. Is this normal or did they put the wrong size in the box? This is my first BGE and I had an Akorn before this (garbage….)

The gap is normal and helps with air circulation. Make sure your fire bowl and ring on top are centered to try to maintain 360 degree flow.
