First time not being able to finish a meal due to the spice level. I eat spicy food every day, “Thai spicy” at Thai restaurants and “Level 5” at Cambodian restaurants, etc. I had been going to this Indian restaurant for a while, they always ask how you would like your spice level. Mild, medium, hot, spicy hot, or flaming hot. I would usually get hot or spicy hot. One day I decided to be brave and ordered it flaming hot. The dish (butter chicken) came out and it didn’t even look like the same dish I was used to eating lol. The color was so dark and mean looking, but I ate it anyways. Barely got a third of it down before I had to give up. It was not even enjoyable pain to me lol worst part was it made my insides hurt for 3-4 days after

That looks great. I wanted to try the Inferno Menu at Mint India in Las Vegas last time I went but they were out of the spices at the time.

Butter chicken is one of my favorite dishes. At a Thai place near me the first time I ordered I got a 9. It wasn’t too spicy so next time I got a 10. Took one bite and it felt like my mouth was bleeding.

Once I was visiting some friends in the UK and went to one of these Indian restaurants that offer extra spicy food. I didn’t went for red hot stuff, mind you, but what I selected was very spicy according to the menu. Some curry with meat and veggies.

Interestingly, it didn’t taste very hot at first. It was very tasty and certainly had lot of spices but it gave me comparatively little ardor in my mouth. Three spoon fulls later I was sweating profusely and by half of the dish I felt like I was drunk despite having only one beer. At about 3/4 of the dish I was unable to eat more.

  6. Never underestimate the spice level of Indian curry places lol

There’s no spicy like Indian spicy in my opinion I got the spiciest I could once at an Indian place near me and I felt like my insides were melting it’s the only thing that’s ever made me feel that way lol

I highly recommend Mahkini if they have it. My local place does mild, medium and hot. Every other dish I can handle hot but the Mahkini I have to go medium on
