Thanks to /u/Bing_Bong_the_Archer for the recommendation. At first glance $12.99 seemed like a lot because it’s not that big length-wise, but boy, is it girthy. As you can see it has plenty of meat and avocado inside, and I was fully stuffed. The soujouk is a beef sausage that is slightly salty, slightly crispy, and works well with the other toppings. My only criticism is I wish it was a tad spicier, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a solution for that.

The roast beef has been my comfort sandwich since childhood. I still drive to tarzana to get one about once a month.

I grew up eating Tarzana Armenian Deli frequently and it is still one of my favorite sandwiches (wrap, whatever). I always try to stop by when I’m back in town.
