1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and sugar. 2. Gradually add 480ml (2 cups) of water to the dry ingredients. You can use 1 cup of warm and 1 cup of cold water. Mix well until you have a smooth and lump-free batter. The batter should be fairly thin, similar to the consistency of pancake batter. Adjust the water if needed. 3. Place a non-stick skillet or frying pan on low-medium heat and add about 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Allow the oil to heat up and spread evenly. 4. Once the oil is hot, pour a ladleful (1/2 cup) of the batter onto the skillet. Quickly swirl the pan or spread the batter evenly with a spoon, creating a thin flatbread. If you prefer a thicker flatbread, use less batter. 5. Cook the flatbread for about 1-2 minutes on one side or until the batter looks set. Gently flip the flatbread using a spatula and cook the other side while pressing on the edges and rotating the flatbread in the pan. 6. Keep flipping the flatbread and pressing on the edges so it can puff up and cook thoroughly. 7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more oil to the pan as needed. 8. Once each flatbread is cooked, transfer it to a plate and keep them warm by covering with a clean kitchen towel. Serve your easy flatbreads with your choice of toppings, such as butter, hummus, yogurt, or any other spreads or fillings you like.
