Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 -12oz. cans of evaporated milk
2- 14oz. cans of condensed milk
4 Tbsp vanilla (Molina brand)
4 cups heavy whipping cream
10 eggs

4.2 litter baking mold
Roasting pan
Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 2 1/2 hours

How to make Creamy Flan
First start by making the caramel
Place burner on medium heat and allow to warm up for 1 minute
Add sugar and allow it to melt, once sugar has melted give a loving mix to ensure all sugar is dissolved
Next make custard by adding evaporated milk, condensed milk, vanilla, heavy whipping cream, and eggs
Blend on a low speed for about 30 seconds and strain into a bowl/ large pan
Pour into flan mold on top of the caramel
Bake for 2 1/2 hours
Run a thin knife around the edges of the pan (don’t go too deep just the top part)
Allow the flan to cook for 30 to 45 before placing in the refrigerator to cool for a minimum of 8 hours or best overnight
Run a thin knife around the edges of the pan, only this time going deeper (try not to slice into your flan)
Finally, place a plate over the flan mold and flip it quickly!

Since we use heavy whipping cream you want to bake until you achieve a stiff giggle
You can check your flan at the 2-hour mark and decide if you need to bake a little long

  7. That looks delicious. I am sure my sons would love it. I will try making it for them. I’m not a good baker. 😅 I can cook but baking is not a strong point for me. But I will try. Single dad life is great but sometimes it’s hard to make the sweets for them.

  10. Hot, melted sugar is like molten lava. Would you stick your finger into molten lava? I wouldn't expect anyone would do that, although I do know someone who did. Was not a good thing…lol
