    I agree this needs a plate, but to be fair, they did give you fair warning it was a “pint” of food

    This was super common years ago in the UK.

    I remember as a kid ordering a pint of prawns on holiday in Cornwall like 25 years ago. They came in a pint glass but to my horror were unprepared.

    My prawns had EYES. I cried. My dad had to de-shell them all for me.

    That was the day i learned what prawns actually looked like before they reached my plate.

    I did not realize the UK breaded shrimp and called it scampi.
