  1. Aww.. my sister makes this every year. Me and my oldest son are the only 2 that eats sweet potatoes. I made that casserole one year and Brandon said mom, I really prefer canned sweet potatoes with just marshmallows baked on them. So that’s what I make but I love what you’re making too… You’re gonna have a feast my friend.. Love you ❤❤

  2. Your recipe is very similar to the one that we make. It is so very good and could be eaten for dessert! I’ve even eaten it cold the next day with a dollop of whipped cream! But, it is a special treat for us, as we only have it once or twice a year.

  3. I put a little grated orange rind in mine. Yours looks delicious, Karen. Thanks for sharing your recipes. 🙂❤️

  4. Your mixer never bothers me. Its not to loud but then I'm hard of hearing. I love sweet potatoes and I love this recipe. I will have to make this and I will use that heavy whipping cream.

  5. My niece makes a sweet potato casserole very similar to yours. In her topping, she has the same things you have but also crushed pretzels and whole cranberries. It is delicious 😋

  6. Girl – we need some smell-a-vision right now. That looks delicious. Unfortunately, I live with the 'anti-sweet potato folks' so I usually do without.

  7. Awe Karen you are amazing!! Thanks to you I have a Thanksgiving dinner planned that will blow my family's mind and I'm 57 years old😂. Stephanie yes l am jealous, your a blessed woman ❤❤. Thank you all😊

  8. I just love the way you incorporate cooking advice into your videos–i.e. the room temperature eggs. You do this so naturally and easily. You are a great teacher! It is part of what makes your channel so wonderful. You are a gem!! Hope you have a truly marvelous Thanksgiving.

  9. I make sweet potato casserole in place of pumpkin or sweet potato pie. It's just like pie without the crust.

  10. That does look delicious. When you said you have substituted pumpkin when you couldn't find sweet potatoes, it brought back a memory of my grandma telling me she never made pumpkin pie with pumpkin, she used sweet potatoes. None of ever knew the difference. Thanks for sharing your recipe Karen, and best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving to you and all your family as well as all your subscribers families.

  11. Hi Karen I am a new subscriber. I’m excited I found your page. I love this and I’m going to try to make it for Christmas. I also am watching your other videos and I’m just tickled. Can’t wait to see more from you 🙂
